IFA 2011: SOUND.MOBILE by TELEFUNKEN is already a major export

Frankfurt, 15.09.2011 – At this year's IFA TELEFUNKEN presented to visitors from national and international visitors two new segments that have a crucial influence on the future product strategy of the brand. In the area of energy management and home control the joint venture TELEFUNKEN Smart Building GmbH (i. Gr.) was announced. The second segment concerns the solar-powered consumer electronics products that can be loaded and operated with integrated solar cells. Due to popular demand, the new devices are offered even faster than expected in international markets. A further expansion of distribution channels is taking place in Russia, South America and Australia.

SOUND.MOBILE - Perfect sound goes mobile
The highlight of the show was SOUND.MOBILE. The solar-speaker has an excellent sound and is perfectly suitable for indoor and outdoor use. MP3 players, game consoles, computers and mobile phones are easily connected via Bluetooth. The eye-catcher convinced experts and business partners alike. An enlargement of the product line is already being planned. After initial discussions SOUND.MOBILE will be available later this year in Scandinavia, Central Europe and China.

Joonior - Energy efficiency for household appliances
Energy efficiency can be achieved for all existing, non solar-powered devices. Joonior, a smart building system, consists of 12 components. It networks home appliances and wireless technology and is operated via smart phones tablet PCs or computers. The TELEFUNKEN Smart Building GmbH (i. Gr.) develops intelligent building technology together with the energy supplier E.on. A cooperation agreement was signed at the IFA.

TELEFUNKEN shows movies in 3D – with LICHTMOND
3D TVs offered by TELEFUNKEN are equipped with DLNA and HbbTV certification standard. This provides a guarantee a future proof technology. The company provides sophisticated designs from brushed aluminum to the latest trend colors. TELEFUNKEN TVs are a visual delight – even when switched off. 

IFA visitors could enjoy the picture quality right at the stand. The acclaimed 3D ambient project LICHTMOND received a Golden DVD for over 25,000 units sold. The enthusiasm of the visitors was so great that the TELEFUNKEN partners submitted the first international marketing and sales inquiries.

TELEFUNKEN Nordic AB delivered the necessary 3D passive glasses. The Swedish members of the TELEFUNKEN Partner Alliance offer a collection of light weight and very fashionable glasses. They were produced in collaboration with Polaroid. Their concave shape of is unique and provides additional fun of viewing.

Entertainment on the go - with TELEFUNKEN Car Entertainment
The four fully integrable 2-DIN navigation receivers for vehicles of the Volkswagen Group especially impressed visitors from the automotive industry. All units are available with a SD card reader and DVD drive, or as "Deckless" devices. They are also available with built-in dual tuners, which are not included in any other device of this class. 

The TELEFUNKEN devices are also the only ones to be connected directly to the onboard computer. They are the only receivers on the market, which take over all functions, such as the parking assistance, rear-view camera, depiction of the dynamic driving values and much more.
